CoolSat 5000 help
Ok guys and gals, I have a question. A freind of mine brought me a Coolsat 5000 to see if I can get it working. Is there a loader out there to load files onto this unit? Is this unit completely dead or does it still work? Thanks for your help.

Loader 2.4 and it's hit and miss for files right now. 2 days ago it was all godd but I'm not sure on the status today. I'll come back with a link to the loader.

just load the file and make sure autorollis on
yesterday sseveral people said that 175 and 178 were working

just make sure the settings are correct and you have the newest bin file, keep us posted on your progress.

there is No "newest BIN file"....bin 178 is ages old and it is the last one till date....it is a losing battle mars9999......get another brand & u will be ok....

To my knowledge, no files are working for coolsat 4,5 and 6 for dn. dont waste you time, I believe these boxes are through!

Jaycool might be right...as you are kicking a dead horse.
The only reason the older units have been working the past few days, was due to the removal of any ECM in the stream by Charlie.
But word has it now, that they put it back in place...and now we see the freezing again.
And at the same time, you will find the old units down again....sorry.
There still might be hope???
Only time will tell...
