new at this
hi all ok in sort we bell costomer for years and did like there service so we bought coolsat 5000 3 weeks ago and still using bells dish and it work fine till thursday and nothing.my Question is if a new bin comes out will i get it again or to i have to change the dish possition ? live in ontario sudbury

Hello and welcome. You may or may not get support for that receiver, so moving your dish won't help much at this point.

coolsat support is not the best. you can expect some down time with that stb.
if you want better support return the coolsat if you still can and get a stb with better support. they arent much good if you cant use them!

TNP gave you good advice, if you can exchange it for a different stb, might be a good idea. Otherwise, start testing the older bin files, they seem to be working for the most part right now. Good Luck!

to get the most out of this site you need to upgrade your membership to vip

as mentioned above very poor almost nonexistent support i suggest as a economic alternative get you a cw650 or cw700

so some decent alternative is the cw650, cw700? what about the cw600, has that become obsolete as well? low budget :O

you would be a lot better off with a sonicview or viewsat reciever
