Coolsat most current file - ABA DSS

Tomcat just posted a file and called the udpated sat file for coolsat 5K. I thought all the BINs would be 182 since the last one was 181 in the CS 5K download section.

tomcat's file type is also diifferent from like 181. Just two quetions. 1st, is this the fix for the latest freeze?

I have to use the serial cable to load. is there a new loader and where could i find it?

Do not bother with that file. (what ever it is...maybe a channel list?)
It is not a fix or a working bin file.

All CoolSat models are currently freezing and I expect to see fixes out in the next few hours.
It is yet to be seen, if the fixes will include the 3 older models.

* The loader for CS4000/5000/6000 is version 2.4 (below)

I need help from somebody that knows the receiver Sunsat 5000 (Clone of the Coolsat 5000). I do not know where to get the latest Bin and I do not want to loose the box, which is a good one. Please HELP.

no, that has nothing to do with the bin file, a sat file is only for what it says it is, just a sat file, to update your sats or to add another sat on some cases.

you can move this post becouse I don't know there to post it to. But I want to know why they started to get fixes for coolsat 4,5,6?

I think that is great. I got my box out of the storage and it is up and working. I thought that thay where not goint to fix them any more

i'm not sure but i think there was a little shake up with the norw group but that is not a fact that i can prove

This is new support from NORW Group and the coders are new as well.
What you are seeing now is the promised support from a few months back.
They are doing as they said they would...so enjoy the "New CoolSat" team & welcome back to the family!

I don't know of any "clone safe" bin files at this time.
You might could use the CS5000 bin182...but I can't tell you if it has a "kill code" in it. (and if it does...well...game over for you)
