No or Bad Signal

I am getting a no or bad signal.
I did a data reset when I was having some channel guide problems.
What causes this?
Itried to move the dish to see if a tree across the street was in my way.

I haven't had a signal in 3 weeks.

It might be a bad switch or lnb.

The best way to tell for sure if you are getting a signal from the dish, is to put a signal meter on it & see.

But if you had signal prior...and you haven't moved the dish...then it may just be a false reading due to incorrect settings in dish setting page.

So if that is the case...start playing with different settings until you get green bars back again. (red is dead) (dish setting page)

also it may be a bad cable connection,,after a while they will corrode and that will coz u headaches and bad signal,,,so check all ur connections and make sure they tight and clean,,
