I have an Alphastar StarTrak 1000 . The firmware is password protected and 0000 does not work. Does anyone have factory files or any files thst I may be able to use for true FTA channels especially for PAS9 at 58west. Transponder 11477 - 26863.

1. Turn on your DSS or DBS receiver.
2. On your Tune In remote, press Shift and release; then Cbl and release.
3. Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
4. Enter code 0772 for your AlphaStar DSS/DBS. The green light will blink twice if you have performed this procedure correctly.
5. Aim Tune In at your DSS/DBS and press Power. Your DSS/DBS should turn off. If it does not respond, repeat steps 2-5, using the code listed in step 4.

Thanks tomcat01 but that did not work. Also the remote does not have shift , cable or set buttons It has Power, Mute Sat?Tv, 0 to 9 Auto, Next, Menu, Guide, channel and volume select, Fav, Alt ET and clear
