Installation


menu>Installation>Antenna settings

Select your sat by pressing OK and enter your settings.

browse to desired sat(s) press left/right for desired auto scan (sat scan) method.all/free/NIT/off.
(all will be used most commonly,can delete anything later if you wish.or select free to only scan fta channels on desired sat)

here you select all details for finding certain tp/channels with full advanced features for a narrowed down detailed channel search
audio tone and status bars for users convenience.

Frequency Step- more detail(1 MHz)/Detail(2 MHz)/Compact(3 MHz)/Normal(4 MHz)/Fast(5 MHz)
you can try the fast blind scan method first,but slowing down the scan to search in more detail will/can produce more channels,so keep this in mind when searching feeds on fta.

press ok on desired event to schedule.
press left/right then numeral entry via remote is active to set on/off times.
repetition= once/daily/or sun-sat selectable.
program= channel.
(easiest way is on the fly scheduling in epg,then using this menu to add detail settings if you wish.see the features part of guide)

displays current model name/loader version/main software version/main software build date here.

Channel Setup

Menu>Channel Setup>Delete Channels

left/right to toggle between tv and radio channels.



Menu>Channel Setup>Delete All Channels

press ok,then confirm by selecting yes.warning-all channels will be deleted of course.

simply toggle through fav groups using fav button.then up/down the channel list to
find channel to add by selecting ok.

Features Guide

EPG


press guide button for basic epg.
red key=back 12 hrs
blue key=froward 12hrs
green key=daily guide
yellow key= set reservation on the fly in epg mode.(there is no indicator icon however.)
use ch +/- buttons to scroll up/down event description window.
fav toggles between fav groups here as well.
tv/radio toggles between tv and radio modes here as well.
enter numeral buttons to jump to desired channel.
guide/exit/ok buttons resume full tv viewing mode.


shortcut keys (while viewing a channel)

tv/radio button toggles between tv and radio modes.

enter numeral buttons to jump to desired channel.

red key= multi picture sub menu 2x2 and 2x3 selectable.

green key=sleep timer.press desired amount of times to toggle between off/10/20/30/60/90/120/ minute increments.
once display of timer disappears(about 3 seconds).you can press once again to view how many minutes remain.

yellow key= audio.press to enter soundtrack sub menu.left/right/ toggle right/left audio feeds on/off.up/down to select secondary audio feeds where available.

blue key= info.press desired amount of times to toggle menu bar/channel description/advanced channel information modes.

mute key= mute volume.

f2= pause picture.audio continues.

fav key=toggles quickly between fav groups with no sub menu.

last button=previously viewed channels.up to 13 stored as you channel surf.
scroll up/down and ok to select/jump to last desired channel.

cc=toggles closed caption on/off.(be sure to set your tv's cc on also for cc support)

zoom= enters zoom mode.

3 sub menus.

sub menu one (must not be in a fav group for this option.press fav button until no fav group is displayed/also must use sat list button rather than ok button to view these options again.you may want to just use sat list button rather than ok button to avoid confusion.)

once selection of sub menu one is complete,your free to select channel.
you can alternatively toggle the sat list button again to skip sub menu one.
but if your not going to change it,there's not much point of being in this mode in the first place.
other than colored key sub menus,but they can entered directly at any time.


red key= alphabet
green key= frequency
yellow key= provider
blue key= favorites

once in any of these sub menu modes,you can toggle between them again here as well.
once entered into desired sub menu,toggle the same colored button to jump to and from upper and lower windows.
for example,blue key to enter favorites sub menu.your in upper window,scroll down to select desired fav group,once there,bottom window displays channels.
press blue button again to jump to lower window to select desired channel.not so useful way of favorites in this case,but for the others it can be,such as alphabet.


tip.so for example,if you wish to have selectable sub menu for favorites rather than jumping to them directly.this combo always works well= ok>(toggle sat list button once to exit first sub menu if needed)press the fav button to toggle through fav groups.
fav group display is on bottom of secondary window,that's a bit awkward,but can get used to it easy if this is your primary receiver in no time.




Themes

press the theme button while in full tv viewing mode to enter themes menu.
left/right toggles between:
movie
sports
news/business
family/children
education
series/special
music/art
religious
science
adult

each event has a background gray color with a white status bar(the more white color that is filled,the further into the event.)


red key= all/now

toggle the red key once,and all channels stored in the epg for set theme will be displayed with start/end times in military time.

tv/radio button= toggles between tv and radio modes for use of themes in either mode.

green key= keyword.

Keyword sub menu

to enter press theme/F1 button(bottom left on remote) and then green key.


using the displayed keyboard enter your desired event name.you can press enter to view results or simply press exit.either way will ask to "save".this starts the very fast search.then you can select event.
you will notice the events have a bar indicator showing how far into the event has lapsed.very nice and convenient.
also note after your search, that your searched for event becomes one of the "themes" options.very convenient again for those who search for the same event frequently.




jpg viewer

place your jpg pictures on usb memory stick.
you may put them in a folder for your convenience and label the folder "pics" for example.
basically attempt to load a pic just like you would a file update.
menu>channel setup>file tools>usb explorer>navigate to your first jpg,and select the the red button as if your updating.the selected pic will be displayed along with directional arrows left/right for you to scroll through your picture collection.
once you have scrolled to your last picture,you will need to press exit,to exit from the picture viewing mode.or you can simply press right twice to loop through again.
