basic channels

I cant seem to pick up most of the basic channels. USA,ESPN,TBS,etc...
Are these channels split between several sats or can I pick them up with one. Currently am getting echostar 110 on my coolsat 6000. Thanks

yes, if you only hit one sat you will be missing channels.

Sat 110 is only half the channels for DN.
Sat 119 has the rest.
You can hang 2 dishes with a single LNB...1 dish for 110...1 dish for 119.
Or...get a yoke & another single LNB to get 2 sats on same dish with proper SKEW angle set.
Or...get a Quad LNB to do the same with no external switch.
