double channels
coolsat 6000 got the guide back up but got doubles of pretty much everything and don't have all the nhl stations

You get double channels when you do a blind scan instead of a auto scan.

That is really buzzard because only Blind Scan will get you double channels, You can go to Channels Edit in menu and delete the doubles.

i know mike that happens to me allthe time even when yo do an auto scan just go to channels and delete all and do a fresh scan

are you scanning just the 110 & 119? Or all the birds? I was getting doubles when I did the 148 and 129 too. Stopped scanning those and no doubles. As for the NHL, i get them, but the TP updater does not work and I have to rescan to get them back after they change.

if you have more than one bird on a switch . disconnect them when your scanning . you can be assured you will only scan that bird . do each one individually . i have 3 so i do each one separately then plug them all in and no problemo. no double channells.
