Your CS7000 may be working, but 6000 does not give you PPV channels. Am I right for CS6000, cause mine 6000 does not get me PPV channels. I am waiting for a new Bin.

Too many people are jumping to the wrong conclusion that Coolsat is nothing but junk!!
If that is the case, the last 2 bins should not have worked.. mine worked beautifully until the latest ECM... so did all of the others, be they 4/5/6000 models. Alarmists are a dime a dozen, ... get the straight facts before junking perfectly good machnes. This ECM may be thew toughest one that has ever hit the FTA system... Give the coders a chance!!

There are a few things to look for to tell if you have a clone. #1 On the box that your reciever cam in, look at the plastic handle, if you see any numbers or letters on it then its a clone. #2 Look at the optical audio connecter on the back of your reciever, the bottom of it should be U shaped, if its upside down its a clone. #3 Look take the TV RF out cable off and look at the center of the connector, it should be white, if its biege its a clone. Hope this helps.

GOOD NEWS! Bin 1.56 (legitimate, not fake) has been released by NorW for the CS 5000 and CS 6000 receivers. They should be available in the [Downloads] section. No need to say "I told you so". The end result speaks for itself.
