Re: coolsat 6000 discontinued ?????
For CoolSat, NorWest Group IS the coders.
If a bin lacks "NORW" on the file...it is bogus...don't load it or else trouble.

Thanks to the moderators, the info is great. I hope the information that comes from them is appreciated. Even though my receiver is up and running , it seem I'm spending more time here then on the watching tube. LOL

Re: coolsat 6000 discontinued ?????
Hi all,
I have a coolsat 6000 unit, it loses signal after I turn it off and I should turn it on and off several times to have the signal back. Does any one know what I should do to fix this problem ?
Thanks,

First of all...don't ever turn it OFF. (except to update a bin file @ PC or during an electrical storm...unplug too)
Just turn OFF the TV only.
Anytime your box don't act right...do a factory database reset to fix it.
If not sure how to do this...please read my CoolSat Setup Instructions below to help.
