coolsat 6000 discontinued ?????

C/P from another board.. We will not be honoring warranties for Coolsat 6000 on end-user purchases with receipts dated after October 31st 2007. The Coolsat 6000 is a discontinued model and there is a prevalent problem with clone units on the internet. All authorized dealers should stop selling Coolsat 6000 after October 31st 2007. For more information email "sales at coolsatusa.com". This policy also affects our previous models Coolsat 4000 and Coolsat 5000.

Any comments from the 'Big Guys'? Is this for real? Is this why we are not getting the new fix for the 4k, 5k, & 6k models yet? If it is, that's not good. I have one. 8-(

They are discontinuing sales not support. 4,5, and 6000's all recieved new bins after the last ecm. In fact they had new bins before all of the other newer boxes.

It's been suggested that the delay could be because of the need to include "clone" killing code in the bins.

The suppport of coolsat 4/5/6000 are still there. They just stopped making 6000 model, if anyone buy coolsat 6000 after this date "October 31st 2007" will not get any warranty from coolsatusa.com

I just check out there web site and the 5000, 6000 and 8000 are discontinued. The replacement are 6100, 8100.

your warranty isnt any good after the first bin is placed on the box so it doesnt really matter as for your cs 6000 will u take $10

I don't get it. it's discontinued thats all . that don't mean they are junk units
mine work fine just no ppv or prem. big deal.. I have a discontinued ford Excursion 6.0l diesel and let me tell everyone it is not junk just because it's discontinued , I still get parts and service for it. just like you will get from coolsat.

I contacted a rep from coolsat and he agreed about the support , what with that???? He metioned something like nfusion.

The 6000 was discontinued on Oct 2007 a major ECM hits Nov 27 2007 which was also the day CoolSat had told all dealers to remove the 6000 from the shelf What up wiyth that? and now another ECM and all their new boxes already have fixes

so is there EVER going to be a fix for cs6000.....i am about to lose my mind soon!! I dont really care about it being discontinued i just want the one i have to work again!!!! All the sites i have been going to have been saying soon for the past 4 days!! ANY IDEA!!!
