CS Bin for one but not the other
Ok. Not to be repeadative, but Why is it that the coders can produce a new bin for the CS 6100 and 7000 , but leave the 5000 and 6000 behind? Is it really all about the $ money $ and selling new stb's? The CS 6000 is a great stb, why would they want to quit on it? I know you say it takes time, but I would think the newer stb's would take longer than the ones they have been working with for a long time. I'm not complaining about the delay, just wondering why one but not the other.
I would like to see some answers from the site admin, or from some mods, or someone that is in touch with a coder.
FYI, I do subscribe to DTV also.

I'm glad someone said something about this, i have a cs 6000 and the thing is down quite a lot these days. to all the cs 5000 and 6000 users. please voice your opinion, and maybe we'll get our fix faster

I purchased a CS 6000 a few months back and it is unbelievable to notice that CS 6K users are being shunned everytime new files are released. Ia m sure that this is done on purpose by the coders to penalize the clones which are available in the market. But for people like me who are relatively new users of CS 6K, we really regret having chosen Coolsat !!!

If I need to replace my cs 5000 because they no longer support it I definitely would not buy another coolsat

You can bet Coolsat isn't on my list to buy as a replacement for the CS5000 I have now. They seem to be a little weak in customer service keeping us up and running. I hope they get it soon or I will have another brand box and I will can the Coolsats.

I own coolsat 6000 as do a lot of my friends i also wondering why no new bin for this one getting a bit annoyed but hopefully they get fix soon

I also have a Captive Works 600 Premium and the bins for it come really quick. Not as nice as the CS 6000,in my opinion, but a good box for the price. Easy to work. Just a suggestion.

your statement that the coders are withholding the bin i think is wrong ,the bin for the 5&6000 indeed may be being witheld but not by coders they get paid to do the coding period i dont think they have the time to play that kind of games.but if not the coders then who??????? maybe coolsat??? in any event us coolsat owners are frustrated enough that if they are trying to get us to upgrade to a7000or 7100 ,we will upgrade but it will not be a coolsat product.speakinfg for myself and not all coolsat owners even though i hope they feel the same way.

I am wondering why it takes so long for the bin for coolsat 4 5 6..But they seem to be coming back on their own. They did yesterday for a few hours and again today. Bev that is.
