Just for your information:
The BIN files we receive here are compressed into a zip file.
That's really redundant, because a BIN file is solid data and does not need to be compressed (nor can it be).
Anyway, the easiest way to get it uncompressed is to use a FREE program called 7Zip.
7Zip is easily found and downloaded from the internet.
Install it and it shows up in your context menu.
That's the little menu that drops down when you RIGHT Click on a file.
Download the bin file and put it in your Coolsat or BINFile folder.
Right click the zip file.
From the context menu click on 7Zip.
That gives you another little menu.
Click on "Extract Here".
VOILA! The uncompressed bin file will appear.
Now you can delete the zip file, if you like,
but keep all your bin files in the folder.
You never know when you might need to use an older bin.
I just love things that are SIMPLE.... and 7zip is as simple as it gets.
