coolsat 6000 help
Trying to load new file to a coolsat 6000 cant seem to ger the receiver to find port for some reason tryed 2 different cords still the same some one elce was trying to load it also the same problem for them I am told .thanks for any help

You need a straight through cable. Where did you get the cables you tried?

It came with the receiver I think so I am just doing it fore some one elce .

If it came with the receiver it should be the right cable.

Click on auto detect and see if it tells you anything. Are you using a usb adapter as well?

no just the cord streight through when i try detect i just goes back and forth and never finds one

Maybe, but I'm leaning more towards your computer. Can you load anything other stb from the same computer?

You know you have to re-boot your receiver after you load the file, right.

You should also go to your device manager and see what com port your port is really on, then you KNOW.

yes . i have a nfusion and a viewsat ultra that I loaded today some one elce tryed to load the file today on another computer same thing cant find port ps I alsi have an neosat pro I loaded the memory stick today

Ultra uses a different cable than cs 6000, it looks just like a cs but works differently. Did you load the ultra with cable or usb?

no ran into that problem befour spent an hour or so trying to load my viewsat befour i tried another cable
