Password on a CS 6000
Hello all, I wonder if there is a way to clear a password on my CS 6000. I'm trying to do a database rest. I just bought it used, but the person does not know the password. I already tried the 0000 without any luck. Please help and thanks in advance!!!

Re: Password on a CS 6000
0103 did the trick!!! Thanks to all of you.
I uploaded the latest 166, but all I get is Scramble Channels. First, I did the database reset, then loaded the file, then scanned the sats. So far, I get Scramble Channel on all channels. Please, any advice???? Thanks!!!

That bin will only work for dn. Let it sit on a channel for a while, if after 10 min nothing happens change the channel. No working bin for bev for any cs box right now.

Ah yes the 0103 trick
Glad you got that sorted, as far as your Auto roll issue goes, follow Boboisno1's advice below, and you should be good.
Lastly make sure you power off after uploading new files to the unit using the rear switch.

Re: Password on a CS 6000
My box acts quirky sometimes after a load. If it doesn't want to come in after a few min, I go to a channel that isnt scrambled, normally nasa, cnn, or dish guide, then go to the channel I want, then hit recall a coulpe of times. It normaly works. I get preiums and movie channels to come in like that.

Re: Password on a CS 6000
If you removed data base or factory default you will need to set more recent bin from factory. that could be helpfull.
