5PM Thurs, DN just went down - ABA DSS

Just moments ago, my CS6000 went Scrambled with bin #156.

Any help with alternate bins, etc, of course would be appreciated.
#156 worked longer than the new ones have.

This is the CS6000 forum......why should DN get any special location?
I will post nothing here that does not pertain directly to the Coolsat 6000 receiver.

I've just tried every bin file from 155 to 166 and got nothing but CNN (channel 19031 ) and some Miami locals (channel 8832).

You can post here, and this is the proper place for your receiver.
However, all posts regarding the last ECM & what bins are good (for all FTA units) are in one thread. (for obvious reasons)

This is something new we are trying to keep the site cleaner.

Well, it's just making it MORE confusing.

Look at the line under my name. It says "VIP", right? That means I pay my money to support this forum. Start beating me up for posting in the wrong forum when I only have one receiver, a Coolsat 6000, so I come to the CS6000 Help forum, and I won't be a member much longer.

I'm sure other 'members' feel the same way I do.
I don't need the "attitude" and I sure don't have to come here for the new bins that are available elsewhere for FREE.

I think I'm done here.

I thought that was the whole idea when you own a coolsat not other receiver.
Look in the area of what you own and not is working for an other receiver...LOL

this is a hobby which requires some of your time. if you just want tv all the time call and get subscription to a service of your choice. my point is if some of u would just read a little and review the post that have been posted then things would be a lot easier for u and everyone else. we are trying to keep it as simple as we can and posting which stbs are up and which bin is being used seems pretty simple to me. so read a little before posting about being down because chances are you are not the only one with that problem. Most people as soon as there sat goes down get on here and just start posting hey im down where is the new bin, please read a little first thats all we are asking. thanks

I agree with Mr Shadow, the confusion is the only thing that is obvious!
This is for CS6000's correct, that includes DN and BEV.
I come to this forum for the information not for files. If I wanted to pay for things, I would not go to all the trouble and cost to get free TV.
As far as this being a hobby, yes I guess that is the (BS) safe (CYA) way of describing what we do, but let's face the facts people, it's for free TV.
All Mr. Shadow was doing was asking for some assistance. Now because of one of many so called site helper's short rude comments, we may have lost a valuable member.
If you so called site helpers want to really help, take the time to be nice, if you want to redirect a member that needs help, take the time to explain why and be courteous.
Hobby or not, everyone does not have the time to search through thread after thread for forum changes. They come to the area that is for their particular STB.
Be nice! It will facilitate a more harmonious outcome! Please, can't we all just get along?

where is channel for CNN on cs6000 dn. cs6000 only has 4 digets on reciever. thanks

If my comments came out rude i really dont see it cuz my post had a please and a thanks. I just asked that you follow a link that CG had going concerning the new ecm which is what was being discussed in here. If you have been here for a min you already know that when a ecm hits you should be reading the fta news and announcements. Some of you are asking questions that are already being asked and answered in CGs thread. If you would have followed it you would have found out what units are down what bins have been tried and if any have worked. That seems to be very useful info to me. It keeps you guys from chasing your tails trying to find a bin if there is one at all. I hope this makes sense to some of you. As far as shadow wanting to leave well thats unfortunate but it is clearly his choice. We do our best to help out around here. Most of us mods/helpers spend hours and hours each day offering assistance when its much easier to grab the bins and just watch tv. I can tell you for a fact that i dont make money on this. My satisfaction comes from knowing i helped someone figure out their system.
