Re: Please help wanting to switch from bev to dn
you can do that by moving your dish to the right until you find 110 or 119 but im not sure thats going to help much unless you up grade your machine there hasnt been a new bin for those older units for about a month. Then its just a matter of rescaning your channels.Hope this helps

Re aim your dish and change your antenna settings to reflect 110 or 119 instead of 91and rescan. For right now you should be able to receive dn because the last ecm's were for bev. It might not last long but with bev putting the card swap into effect real soon it might be worth it to have a dish pointed at dn.

Re: Please help wanting to switch from bev to dn
once you get 110/119 in do a default then rescan your channels on each bird ; dn is still going good on the cs 5000;6000 here still

When bev puts their card swap into effect, will that mean that bin fixes won't help anymore?

Hard to tell at this time, everything is made to be broken...we just will have to be patient. TX...if you look in the fta tools section you will find some great dish pointing tools. Just find the elevation you need and then align to the azimuth its tell you, some are very close. Try this online dish pointing tool that works great for DN...
