Need help with 6000 - ABA DSS

I need help with my 6000 it keeps restarting and has an 8 on the display. it will let me flash it but it will not start up. ive already put factory flash then the latest bin file but it still wil not start up.

try unplugging the stb from electricity then turn the swicth off from the back plug back turn switchback on see if that helps if not install factory file then install latest file 176.

ive done all that and it is still not working at all nothing is being displayed on the screen

you need to reload the factory file then reload working bin...remember to do hard reboots before and after every load...also write down your setting just in case anything changes

It's normal to see nothing on the display after doing a reset...because it removes all the channels.
It may display L100 after the factory flash.

after loading the factory file hook it back up and do a factory reset then load latest bin and adjust settings and rescan your birds

ive done all but what the problem is that i connectd it to the tv and there is nothing on that screen at all and nothing on the d/p of the box and yes it is pluged up to an outlet that works to i really have ran out of thing to try.

When you have the box hooked up to the TV, you should be able to see the menu or the channel guide.
Is the remote control working at all?
If you have nothing displayed on the TV then maybe your not connected properly or something.
Even without the dish connected, you should be able to see something on the TV.
The TV must be on Ch# 3 or 4 you know...
The box ain't dead and you should be able to flash it with the factory bin. (are you using the correct bin for that model? (they are all different)
Do you have a clone? (NORW bins kill clones)
If you complete a factory flash...you should see L100

Maybe your bin files are corrupted.
So dump everything you have & download them from my links below & try them. >>>
