CS6000 will not switch to 119
My cs6000 with a dish 500 will not switch between 110 and 119 the lnb has port 1 and port 2. If I hook the receiver to port 1 I can pick up 110 if I hook to port 2 I get 119. The cs6000 box willnot switch between the two sats. All the settings are correct as I have been doing this for more then a year. This happend after a thunder storm and had a lnb go bad. I thing the switch in the cs6000 receiver has gone bad. Has anyone had this problem? And can I change the switch out on the pcb board in the cs6000 box? Any help would be great> Also when I have it hooked up to the 110 side of the LNB, in the dih settings 110 is all green with 97% I can go to the 119 in the dish settings and in the upper right hand corner of the screen where it confirms what sat you are seeing it will have the 110 sat. This makes me think that the internal switch has gone bad.

Re: CS6000 will not switch to 119
I did install a new LNB (used) and still have the same problem. The new lnb has has 2 ports i can connect on port 1 and get 119 and not 110, when i move the receiver line to the 2nd port I can see 110 and not 119. With the old lnb I can only see 110 move it to 2nd port and cant see anything so yes that one i think the switch is dead. Is there a switch in the cs6000 receiver or is all of the switching done through the LNB. If that is the case the new (used ) LNB might be bad as well the only thing is I can see both sat independent of each other.

Re: CS6000 will not switch to 119
The DUAL LNB Doesn't have a switch... I think you need a switch before you get to the reciever... I think.. like a DP 34..

With the dish 500 you do not need a Dp switch I have used with and without and it works both ways. But not now.

Re: CS6000 will not switch to 119
sounds like you have another bad lnb. It doesn't take much to fry the switch in the dp500. If you cut the coax while its powered up the switch will fry almost everytime. If your getting 110 from 1 side and 119 from the other , just run 2 lines into a switch then to your stb.

Re: CS6000 will not switch to 119
if you have a integrated dishpro plus it does have a built in switch while the legacy doesnt have, check your lnb out to see what type,if you have 1 reciever with 2 cables coming out more than likely it is a legacy, the best way to remedy this is to change your switch or if you have a 34 switch . if it is a dp plus lnb more than likely you have a lnb out on your dish ; i hope this of some help to you, also there is no switch in the 6000 reciever its either the lnb or switch
