just hooked up my new nfusion. Not in love with the channel guide or the slow channel changing but guess what I'm watching the ball game tonite. Coolsat 6000 RIP we had some good times and as much as everyone is *****in about them I had an 18 month run on a pretty good set and isn't that what this hobby is all about. So if I'm here in another year or year and a half I don't think I'll be complaining then either. Thanks for the memories coolsat, no complaints but I am now seeing other systems.

I remember when this site seemed like one big happy 'family'. Well it looks like the Coolsats (4000, 5000, & 6000) are the 'older generation'. They don't seem to have any use left in them so they ship them off to the 'rest home'.

I think the moderators/coders/whoever-runs-this-racket should belly up to the bar and officially say whether they are going to support these older models or not. Quit straddling the fence. Take a side, this is election year and you need to make a stand!
I for one am not going to put my ol' coolsat 6000 on the shelf to collect dust. I'm going to put it to use. I have an old coffee table with one short leg and these babies are just the right hight..............
