Hello and welcome. What cable are you using? Which loader program. Support is pretty much gone for these units. Sometimes older files work.

Re: Coolsat 6000 not connecting
I'm pretty much useless, as to what I'm using. The cable that came with the box for loading via the computer. I know it can't be that as I can load my other coolsat 6000 no problem the only thing differrent I've done with this one is change the language back to English.
This unit keeps telling me to connect and turn on the receiver, so I figure it has to do with the unit itself I just don't know where to start looking I have done the obvious.
Thx

Re: Coolsat 6000 not connecting
For some reason the computer and stb aren't seeing each other. Try changing the com port in the loader pgm. If you're running the 9 pin cable directly without and usb to serial adapter odds are it should be com 1.

Re: Coolsat 6000 not connecting
Try leaving the rear power off until you start the update. Get your loader setup and ready to download then press start to upload, then turn the power back on, on your 6100

Re: Coolsat 6000 not connecting
I have tried different COM as suggested no luck; Like I said the other Coolsat is loading properly on the 2.4 loader, I just don't understand why the 2nd machine is not connecting
