Help i need help

Ok i have this problem.. i down loaded the loader.. and hit the browse button load up the Coolsat 6000_200_20090226.stb... Hit Connect.. and it say " No available COM port...." can someone help me with this.. i got it to work once watched it once.. and now no more.. is it my compture or is it the loader..

my guess is,,u got the wrong com port number on ur loader,, u need to find ur com number that is on ur computer and set ur loader to that com number,, if computer is com 4,,u need to set loader to com 4,,, how do u find ur com number on ur computer u ask ? there is a tool here ,,but i cant find it,, i do know how to check manually tho ,, on computer ,, click start / settings / control panel / system / device manager ,,once manager is open,,look for ports (com & lpt) click on little + sign on left side of it,,it will give u ur com number ,, good luck

Yeah i played around with the comp port.. i even went all the way to com16.. and i even turn off my coolsat and turn it on really fast and hit connect.. it still don't work... my ports (com & LPT) communiations port say(COM1)

ok now i'm in the communications port (COM1) right click went to .. did the scan for hardware change... nothing.. then went back right went to properties device status"This device is working properly.

You need to restart your computer before the changes you made to this device will take affect.

If you are having problems with this device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter." and the device usage say use this device (enable).... LOST

Hey I load the loader and it keeps telling me to connect and turn on my receiver. How do I get the two too connect? Can someone throw me some info? Much apprec. thanks

Thanks guys for the help with my comp port. i found that i have to reset my computer for me to use it.. how gay is that... stupid computer..

Now i got another problem... my unit say 6000 premium.. and when i go into the system part..it Say 5000 premium... any idea on how i can change that.¿

I think that the last few vs 6000 files have been saying this, if I'm correct there is nothing you can do to change it and as long as it works fine you don't need to worry.
