I'm sorry to tell you that the 2300A you have is useless.You better get a good one with better support.

Re: please help pansat 2300a
l have a 2300a and it has been up and running up until last week when charlie switched. l had dish up until a couple of weeks ago. There are a limited number of channels available on both but not to many. it has served me well and it is time to get a new one. Does any one have any suggestions as to which unit is good and with good support?

I was in the same situation like you before,I didn't know what to buy but with the help of the Mods I got myself a CaptiveWork800PVR.It's working fine so far and it's $125.It's up to you buddy there is a lot of choices out there.Before you buy one,keep checking the download section,you can see there which receiver has good support..........Good Luck.

Re: please help pansat 2300a
Hi;
I have a Pansat 2300A. I set it to factory defualt. I am trying to flash the memory by using "PansatLG2300A_040414_223_api.bin" from Pansatusa.com, but it always fails. Any comment please.
Thanks

Re: please help pansat 2300a
dude you either get a 30 inch dish and point to either 30, 97, or 123 (true fta channels) or throw that reciver out, because that reciver is dead

Re: please help pansat 2300a
Put that box to a rest my friend, it's about time to upgrade a newer one. Like that all asid, use that box for true free to air channels

Re: please help pansat 2300a
I heard it is possible... You need to Jtag the 2300 to a 2500... Then use the 2500 to 2700 conversion....
If I remember correctly you will be using a jvvh file for the 2300 to 2500.... not sure the host program to use with the Jtag... If I had too guess, and you were ot worried about the box, I would try the 2500 jtag pkg on the 2300... (wall,unlock,jkeys...)
