2300 no picture with new bin

Downloading Procedure for Pansat 100E /2300A/1500A/2500A

1. Connect satellite receiver to PC with RS-232C straight cable( Not Null Modem ).

2. Turn on the power of the satellite receiver.

3. Open the GTROM STB UPDATER.

4. Click “ STB MODEL” and type model name exactly( Example: Pansat 100E,
Pansat 2300A, Pansat 1500A or Pansat 2500A ).

5. Click “ BIN FILE” and select the bin file you want to download then click “ Download”.

6. Do not interrupt while downloading.

7. Press OK after download complete; satellite receiver will reboot by itself.
Do not interrupt satellite receiver until reboot by itself.

NOTE;
PC to Receiver use straight through DB-9 Serial Cable.
Receiver to Receiver use Null Modem Data Transfer Cable.
Software version transfer update from receiver to receiver can be done
between same model only.
Channel data transfer from receiver to receiver can be done all the same
Family models only: 100E / 2300A / 1500A / 2500A.
100E and 2300A is used same tuner, 100E is just less function model.
1500A and 2500A is used same tuner, 1500A is just less function model.

this is the loader i got GTRom STB updater ver 2:1b
like i said it says real big 2300 loader Error:model name doesnot correct
I tryed what you said is ther a nother way to load box or make it work
ps i hope i ant making you mad ! just trying to get it to work thank you for help

thats all the info i know buddy,sorry.
hopefully someone with a 2300 can help ya out more.
those instuctions should work.
be sure you extract the files from the zip folder first of course.

I've been using Blacklist STB UPDATER 1.3 if its not here in the download section maybe check on another site.

may be tomorrow some one can help i did every thing you said but will not work i wish it was as easy as my viewsat is i just cant get it i might have to take it to someone to get it fixed thanks for trying to help me maybe i will get it another day have a good night slowboy!!!!!

i had to do some more reading i found out you have to put key:global at the stb may be it will work it said download complete iwaited the light went across then went black i waited then nothing happen i hope it works thanks again

hey! so you did get it to load ok uh! great!
sure buddy,what do you have for dish/switch/lnb(s)?
and where are you pointed?

lnb is a dual dp +110 ;119

ok i "belive" the dish pro plus is the same way as a dp.

here are your settings:

lnb type: dishpro
lnb local-freq.: 11250
22khz: off
diseqc: echo7/119:#1 echo8.10/110#2

now do a blind scan and scan vertical polarity only for both birds.
this should get you all channles with no duplicates.good luck.

what about the lights in front of box they dont work any more but the box it silf does i hope when i loaded the bin last night the light went off and never come back on just letting you know i read where someone had same problem
