I have a Pansat 2500A that I sucessfully converted to 2700 with a jtag

I am using a: DishNetwork 500 (dp Plus) satellite dish.
Software loaded: JWH-LZMA-V215 F_em 75 19.May.2009
My menu screen shows: Team Puff with three dog as a background

I am able to program 100+ channels usually, it just depends on when I scan and settings.
I can only view about four channels though, NASA, Order Dishnet PPV, DISHNET smart card install, and the same paid Ads/church on like six channels.
My system shows: Signal 78% with 99% quality

Goggle says to set my system on:
Satellite: 91.0W Galaxy 17 | Nimiq 1, 2
I have it setup on:
Nimiq 1,3/Ku
LNB: Standard
Local-Freq: 11250
Off, Off, None, 45, TP (14) 12414 H 20.000, Disable, ALL
------------------------------------------
My questions are:
I do not see Galaxy 17 listed on the antenna setup menu at all to try that satellite. Is it under some other name? I have tried both Nimiq 1 and 2. I see lots of satellites on my antenna setup screen, do I just try them all?

Is this all you get?
What do I need to do to view good channel$?

Now that I have converted my Panset 2500A to a 2700, which forum should I use. 2500A or 2700A to post, read, upgrade my bins and do research about the box I upgraded?

Is my upgraded considered a clone box now?

Is this the latest BIN? I see a V218 bin but do not see one for upgraded 2500A to 2700 Panset box.

first you will not get anything there nimiq 1,3 is down gone to n3 and you will not get back with that recoiver next galay is a ku band and you do not have the dish or lnb to get anything there and there is nothing good anyways .. so you will have to move to the west to get 110 or 119 or both and some of these are all going to n3 also but there is still some there ..
yes 218 is the newest one but you have to be a paid member here to download

yes the three dogs are the newest boot file and bin so just flash the newest bin and repoint and you will be good to go .. good luck

sounds like UR on 110 port 1 Tp1 the sat will show up on ur screen

Did you do the 1.0.3 puff/lzma conversion?

The channels you listed are dn channels so use the antenna settings TC gave you above and odds are that 119 is port 1 and 110 is port 2. Then tell us the S&Q reading you get from each antenna setting.

I am heading to Rat Shack to get a satellite direction finder meter so I can move it to west 110-119. I am by myself and cannot tell how to set direction without it.

I installed the v218 just fine.
