Heeeellllpppp!!!
My laptop died the other day and I got a new desktop. The desktop didn't have the same 9 pin connection as my laptop did. I bought a connector that connected through the USB port on my desktop and connects through the nine pin connection on the back of the Pansat 2500a. I am trying to load the newest bin, bin 252T Lightning through Blacklist Updater 1.4. When I try to load the bin file, it shows there are no files with show flash files selected. I then select show all files and try to write, I get the message,
Can't Open Serial Port
!!!: The system cannot find the file specified.
I wanna watch the fight in about an hour. Thanks so much for your help!!!

Re: Heeeellllpppp!!!
You may need a driver disk to go with the USB cable you purchased.
Some have a driver you need to load.
If not ensure that you have the right type of USB to Serial that is required for your Pansat. The one your require is USB to straight DB9.

Re: Heeeellllpppp!!!
Windows Vista loaded the driver for it when I connected it. I put the disk that came with it anyways but the driver was already loaded. The USB to nine pin connector fits right. I don't know what to do. Thanks for your help.

Re: Heeeellllpppp!!!
You need to ensure the cable you purchased is a USB to DB9, not a USB
to NULL serial cable, they look the same (alike) but function differently.

Let us know when it's going. These things have a little trouble autorolling sometimes. Keep it on a lower numbered channel, it sometimes helps.

Re: Heeeellllpppp!!!
It didn't go through right. It started to upload and got all the way to 100 %, to the part where it was saying burning. It didn't finish though and I get the message, WRITE FAILD{ER2}. I tried it again and got the same error. What should I do?
