Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
I had successfully flashed my Pansat 2500 previously with this computer and Serial Cable.
When re-flashing it today it now says WRITE FAILED [ER1].
Getting nothing across the front LED's.
Any idea on how to correct this?

Re: Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
Have you done the 1.0.3 conversion to it? If so try different loader versions.

Re: Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
I was in the middle of trying to convert it.
Using the same Cable/Computer I can flash other device, so it appears to be an issue with the unit.
Any way to open it up and reset the memory?

Re: Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
Try doing it a few times. Make sure you use the right loader for the conversion then use a different loader for the file loading. I can't remember if its loader 420 for the conversion and 421 for the file. I will check.

Still no luck with multiple loaders and bin's.
Any other ideas besides making it a doorstop?

Do you have any lights on the receivers display?

Re: Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
No lights at all.
I can see the TV flicker a bit when I turn it off/on. So there is power, but it seems the ROM is a bit out of sorts.

Re: Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
I check the com port always before I load a bin. Sometimes it's 1, most of the time 2, but I always have to check.

Re: Pansat 2500A - Write Failed [ER1]
Even if you got it flash but there is going to be no tv.as you know all channel move to n3.if you like to get more info just go to your receiver info. Go to home page in upper left corner, click on drop down arrow next to sonic view and select your receiver. All the info is there...good luck
