2700A fix due or should we look for something new??? - ABA DSS

I have a 2700A factory and need to see some video soon or it seems I will wilt up and rot on my carpet waiting...

What is the best machine to use now-a-days anyway?

I need something that is as near to maintenance free as possible.

Please respond if you currently have video and let me know what equip you are using.

SV, Kbox CNX and Nfusion are all open using IKS.

SV with ihub, Kbox with Khub, CNX Nano with dongle, any Nfusion except nova as they dropped support for it.

Best to think about migrating to another unit, unless True FTA is your interest ... How big is your dish?

which receiver do you think or have seen is the best that is still up and running or still have most of it's channels and is the hardest for them to knock out and does it go online to update itself automatically withthe newest software like the educational software like on here?please respond asap.

Actually I am a newbie. Have a Neusat 2000SP that went dead, friend turned me onto the 2700A and, although I am not a fan of serial connections, it seemed to be a good fit once I figured everything out. I have a DP500 with quad LNB and running one box, the 2700A.

I simply enjoy older movies, new releases, and of course the porn (which rarely worked).

Someone help a brother out and turn me on to something that doesn't get hit all the time and I can use a USB to do updates. I am a newwork guy (fiber as well) and have my house wired to the hilt. I have purchased a birdog 3.0, digital compass, and have several hundo hours on the net doind research as well as have had every possible imagineable error that you can have so the leg work is a done deal!
