Well, I for one am not renewing membership until there is evidence of N3 being hacked. I am not holding my breath.

Re: Is pansat 2700a death for ever?
Oh! Ye of little faith!
The Pansat 2700A/E is one of the best STBs (Set Top Box) ever engineered. And, it don't cost a lot. When N3 is cracked and coded, Pansat bins will be available for the ancient and venerable 250 to the altogether brand new Pansat STB (just out this month).
True, Pansat almost always comes in dead last in new bins, but they do get posted.
Panarex, Pansat's parent company is not about to retire a tried and true product. And ... If by some weirdness no bins are provided for Pansat STBs they are still my choice for true FTA.
So, gear up, relax, grow some patience and wait a spell. N3 has been cracked in the EU and it's just a question of time before it's cracked and coded in North & South America. If past performance is any indication, I'd say that we'll get us some new bins by, at the most, the end of August. Maybe sooner. !Ojala!

Re: Is pansat 2700a death for ever?
There is an alternative to FTA STBs. And, you don't have to wait for new bins, download anything or sweat out the constabulary coming to kick in your door.
It's called ...
wait for it ....
A subscription.
Bwahahahahahaha!
Testing: Pansat 2700A & 9200/Sonicview 4000 & 8000/Very Old RCA & Echostar IRDs
