Re: **Pansat_Help_Urgent!!!!**
At the present time there are no 3rd party files for that unit, but if you wish to set it up as a true FTA unit the gang here can help you out! How large is your dish?
Congratulations on your first post, and welcome to ABAdss.

Re: **Pansat_Help_Urgent!!!!**
For true FTA applications that Dish is likely too small. If you wish to run the Dish 500 you have, you might want to look at a receiver that offers IKS features, like the nFusion Solaris as an example.

Re: **Pansat_Help_Urgent!!!!**
Man ... I hate stories like that, he sold you a Pansat 2700A for $500.00 <WOW>.
Maybe this winter, he'll have the pleasure of slipping on the ice. In the meantime, at present, and likely into the furture that unit is only going to be useful for true FTA apps. Best to get a larger dish and point it at 123W.
Or call the guy up and tell him he's a bit of a shister and get your $$$ back.

Re: **Pansat_Help_Urgent!!!!**
As of this minute, with your set up, the answer is no, sorry to be the bearer of bad news my friend. With a larger dish, you could use that to pull stuff down from 123W, but the application you had wished it would fill - won't be possible now.

Re: **Pansat_Help_Urgent!!!!**
Point made, these types of stories are disappointing to say the least. Let's please just leave that aspect alone now, and focus our attention on how we might be able to help this guy.

Re: **Pansat_Help_Urgent!!!!**
Assuming he has the budget, yes that's a good option.

Sorry to hear the bad deal you maid, but if you want to make work the option is like CG. said, get a big dish 30" or 33" inches. Good Luck friend.
