b75 boot upgrade guide
do not skip any steps.and you should have no problems.
latest loader 27.02 can be found here:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/163-pans...-v27-02-a.html
press menu-factory setting.
load bin 116
116 here:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/163-pans...ctory-bin.html
using loader v27.02
load the boot file 75-NOT the bin yet. ("boot file only" will be checked in the loader by default,if not be sure it is)
once complete, you will see b-7-5 scrolling non stop (this is normal=good)
now do not turn off the stb at this point!!!
wile scrolling b-7-5 on the lcd:
using same gtrom loader v 27.02 load bin 120(your new factory bin from now on-save for latter) be sure to check mark "app file only" now,and hit download.
you may get "knight rider lights" at this point.(but the factory setting, and factory bin you did before you started should help reduce the odds of this GREATLY)
if you do get the "knight rider lights" don't panic.
simply keep trying to load bin 120.or any new b75 bin is ok also.
(this can be tricky, start the loader, hit download, then flip the rear switch on.if no luck, wait for the first line to scroll across then hit download, then the second, third, etc.it can take 10-15 tries even! so don't give up,it WILL load.)
once loaded your all set.and never have to worry about boot 75 again.
now, with same loader load the latest bins as normal.
l oader version 27.01 will NOT WORK WITH B75 BINS!

you open the .bin file with the loader version 27.02
don't try and double click on a .bin file to open it.
open up loader 27.02 and THEN select the boot.
make sure you load the factory bin first! and do a factory setting before even starting.or you will be in knight rider hell lol.
follow every single step in that guide, right down to every single detail!
first 2 steps are MOST important ones.
press menu-factory setting.
load BIN 116

Re: b75 boot upgrade guide
boot updates are not fun.many people simply let someone else do them.
but i dunno.its all there there,i cant word it any better than i have.trust me i tried and did my best to state it as easy as i could.
well ok.lets just forget about the boot upgrade for now ok.lets just start off together with the basics.
1.do you have loader version 27.02?
and have you opened it up?
2.do you have a factory bin called 116 on your pc?
