you just have to keep trying everything in the guide.don't worry you will get it.
try the last few bins, factory bin or even new bin again.try all different times like the guide states.
it will take it,don't give up.

My box still isn't working. Should I invest in a different kind of box? I have been trying to flash the box for days now and still nothing.

does this have anything to do with your previous post about fixing nightrider on a pansat 2700a?...or you just need the latest fix for a vs? if so which model?

Re: scrolling lights across LED, the "knight rider" fix.
Thanks for the information. I will definitely try turning the receiver on after I hit the download button. I was turning it on first, then hitting download, which it did, but still got the "night rider effect" in the end. My receiver is a universal one with no real name on it (probably a 2700A/E clone as that number is on the front of it).
I will give this a whirl for now and let you know of the results; if no go, from some of the reading I've been doing, sounds like I may have to dowload the factory BIN using the 27.01 loader, then upgrade from there. My support isn't very good from the guy that was programming the receiver in the first place. He decided to sell us a CD with the Clone loader program, read me files & a DB9 /RS232 null modem cable. Of course, I didn't have a serial port on my machine and after trying the USB adaptor to no avail, I installed a PCI card w/ serial ports. I unzipped the current -C PANSAT_2700_235v1_TIVO ( I only see one file, so hopefully I did this right), however the only way it would download was using the Channel only button, which just gave me the advertising channels) Finally my guy said to use the "App file only" button (wish I would have known that in the first place), which finally worked, but then I was stuck with the night rider lights after that. That latest BIN file I mentioned, is that compatible with the boot version 62, which i think I have after checking the software installed on my receiver (Vortex...etc.)...Hope I'm not rambling too much, I'm just frustrated!!!
