B75(Pansat 2700A)
Hello,
Anybody knows how to get rid of B75 boot file from Pansat2700A. My friend has one without B75 and that Pansat is Running good. I have to keep my on all the tie. If I turn it off it looses signal and most of the times it saya Loading EPG. Also when I recall or push last button, It does not work. It will either give the same channel or reboot the receiver.I want to bring this receiver to its original state.
I need help and I will apperciate it.
Thanks

Just load Pansat Factory bin for 2700a...This will put your STB back just like it was when you purchased it. You will have to load a bin file in order to receive non FTA channels though...

The latest bin file for your receiver is the B-75, if it is giving problems, you might try one of the older auto roll fixes, or, have your friend to pull up on STB the version she is useing and then download that one...

The only way you could get rid of the b-75 boot is to jtag the unit back to 6.2 boot sistem. But if you do that then can't use new bins, and the autoroll won't work with older bins. Try to stick with the new boot sistem is faster and working good so far. If you receiver is giving you problem try to reflash the unit after that load bin 203, when done and you install the receiver to tv , choose factory setting and do your set up. Try that and let us knows

you guys are both wrong hehehe
you simply load the boot 62 file back to it along with the factory bin,all you need to do it is here:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/163-pans...ctory-bin.html
i too got tired of the bugs and did this.the stb runs much smoother.
if you had a hard time upgrading to b75 i DONT recommend this!!
then load bin 295 here:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/163-pans...2-02-07-a.html
(297 is buggy for channel list) 295 also rolled for me once.
AGAIN dont do this if you had a hard time upgrading to b75!!!!!
this is an option for those who dont mind doing it.
and at some point you still will NEED b75.
hopfully bugs get worked out soon.
but this IS a option, and works well.

pansat 2700e help
i just returned from vacation and noticed that there was an upgrade. i have dishnetwork the dish pro 500. i tried to open the GTRom Loader v27.02 and it gives me an Unknown File Type error. then i hit ok and try to download it and it says BIN File does not Correct! Download was prohibited. I have the b75 and i loaded BIN 203 it went thru with no problems. i checked my stb and the parental control and channel edit are not highlighted. my system info says;
X-87BL
API:75-203_EUbX
BOOT ver: 75
11.APR.2007
when i go to setup it says:
LNB Type DISH-PRO
LNB local freq 11250
22kHz OFF
DiSEqC #1
Legacy SW NONE
Skew -45
TP [1]12223 V 20.000
positioner Disable
Sat Scan ALL
Level 30%
quality 0%.
This is for Echo 7/ku and for Echo 8.10/ku the DiseqC is #2. what to do now? my sat was hooked up by DN

i'm not sure if you are talking to me or not about the c-safe 295 or the brown circuit board 30 and 31 being swollen. I checked my board and I dont have a 30 & 31 on the brown board. I also have no idea what a c-safe 295 is either. i just know that i was up and running and now I'm not

Lildap yours is not a cap problem. Before you open the bin you need to unzip it if the bin file is compressed in a zip or rar file the loader won't be able to use it. Also check if your unit is a real one or clone. Bin 203 is working great i have done like 10 units upgrades and all of them are working fine. But if your unit is giving you problem then use last b-6.2 file bin 297.

Re: B75(Pansat 2700A)
Im trying to update my pansat 2700A with this file " X-87BL_071122_B75_224_api.zip "
when I pull the file up on my gtrom loader it says unknown file type? I also read on another forum that this file is unable to be unzipped? Im also having trouble getting it unzipped. Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong or how to correct this problem please?

Re: B75(Pansat 2700A)
you might check and see if you are using the right loader. Current loader is V27.02
