Re: diffrence between 2700 and 2700a
If you buy Pansat do it from a trusted seller. The difference is where you buy it, if its fake it may say 2700 or 2700A or 2700a, again buy from a trusted seller. the real one says 2700A. Do more reading, there is a link in the Pansat section on this forum, USE IT, and you'll learn more. Use the link in the main page of this site for a good deal on receivers. Your choice, trust them!!!

By the way dlilaztec, original receivers always get better and faster support than clone ones.

Re: diffrence between 2700 and 2700a
All pansat's 2700 a or e uses same fix. But if you going to buy a pansat i suggest the new 250sm. Use our sponsor and buy only original stb's

Re: diffrence between 2700 and 2700a
if you want a pansat buy the latest one & thats what odissseusss said above, that 250sm is very fast & more memory than the 2700.
I would also suggest getting a viewsat ultra or a sonicview 4000, these boxes are much better than the 2700 and your hearing it first from a pansat 2700 owner.
few months back i got a ultra and loading it with a memory stick takes 10 seconds compared to 2 minutes with a null cable. take it from experience once you have memory stick loading youl never go back to loading your bins with a cable. spend few extra dollars and get the best one! also read the review section to hear what others have to say before you make your final decision on a purchase.

I love that part, I got a SW4000 and it works like a champ, it takes longer to plug that usb in and key in the command than the download itself!

Re: diffrence between 2700 and 2700a
2700 is a 2700a
all these are is a 2500 with a little more ram.
they shouldn't even be in production still.
people who don't know any better would assume they are competitive to whats available today.and they are not.
pansat has 2 options:
250sm
and 9200HD
only 2 units that are up to date.
the 250sm does not have CC or Sirius radio.
it goes scrambled channel on you.and lacks features.
its non pvr, but cost's more.
i don't use it because its so buggy.
it's does not get a thumbs up from arbor at this time.
about the same with 9200HD.
both needs lots of coding work.
pansats older stuff......don't even think about it.
lots of good units on the market.
if pansat doesn't want to improve then no sense buying their products.
