Where can I get FTA for Dummies!

I have been looking for satellites for a while now. I did set my PanSat 2700a preloaded B-75 installed with the dish500 duel LNB mounted to my deck rail and using 119 only I was able to get my Level to 75 and Quality around 50+ had duplicate channels that came and went. I moved the dish to its new location and could not get anything more than 35 on the level.
I did disconnect the LNB without powering down the receiver I May have Fried my second unit. If I reload B-75 will it completly reset the receiver to start over Again. I have also tried a direct single LNB with the same outcome. I should be close to the location based on several of my neighbor's dish setups. I hope someone will have some suggestions as what to do.

FIrst of all i would try back the original location where you were getting quality of 50, Then remember the dish needs to be squed and not straight. For the double channel dont do a blind scan, do an autoscan after you do a factory default. Another thing to improve the quality a little is an inline amplifier if your cable run is over 75 feet.

you can check for blown capacitors and replace them if necessary (it happened to me and it was pretty easy to replace them, just check out this link, complete with pictures) Good luck... heres the link
