totaly dead panasat 3500 - ABA DSS

for totally dead pansat 3500 i hooked up the jtag cable turn unit on than open wall.exe program refresh then minimize it. then open skymax program check 2mg file then select port then start wait for it to connect to unit then erase wait, then write select the correct file 2mb when done exit then turn 3500 off and on should be good to go turn 3500 off and flash with b80 upgrade boot software click pc to stb then turn 3500 on and it will flash then restart and 305 bin

i have a pansat 3500a, the problem is the box keeps shutting itself on and off constantly, it wont let me go to menu or anything. my other 3500 is working fine,dont know what to do please help. thanks

hi guys i have a pansat 3500s only the green led is on , and i cant do nothing else , is ther a way to unfreez ??/ i already upgrade to b-80 but i plugged the tv cable n the wrong port of the receiver then the channel indicator is gone and still the green red on..thxs...any one know how to fix ??

jatag and replace the 2mb flash, not just the api and boot file.

I've never jtagged or had to open the box up, looks like I'll be doing so sometime soon. So please pardon my ignorance on the subject. I want to make sure I understand you correctly before I do anything to my STB. Are the above instructions for after you've installed a jtag, or something to try prior to doing a jtag, to see if it revives?

Those are for the Jtag... Those programs you will be using will be to directly flash the chip....

I try to jtag my receiver and I get this error message it states (Load Data RAM Fail) everytime what does that mean.
