Broken
MY UNIT WENT DEAD WHEN I TRIED TO LOAD 395 AND NOW IT WOUNT DO ANY THING IT SAYS 6-80 ON THE FRONT AND THE IS IT . IS IT TIME TO BY A NEW ONE OR CAN I FIX THIS ONE? THANKS FOR THE HELP  |

Load the Factory file first, then third party file. Re-enter your sat settings, rescan the sats. This should fix you up...

You need a serial cable and a program called a loader. Pretty straightforward from there. Plug in serial cable and locate new bin using the loader and click download. Then the loader will do the rest.
Also 397 is the newest bin. You should probably use that.

Thank you but when this was set up for me all i have is the sd card. I will try and find my installer and see if he can help me. Thank you all for the help!!! I think i buy new and start over and learn to do this my self . You all are great!! Have a great day

download loader 2, then 397 bin file, unzip the file with winzip or winrar then click on the loader 2 program. make sure you have your usb-serial cable connected or it will say "com port open failed". click open files and drag the file to the window. click the file and then click open. now click pc-stb and the file should load.
