My 3500 went down, first with no signal at all. Now it shows scrambled channels ike if there's a new ECN. But my 2700 is working perfectly. Should I do a hard reboot? Should I go factory then install the newest bin?

Just do a hard reboot with rear rocker switch. This should fix you up...
