help getting a free line to my fta

dish 500 and it is supplying to#2 dvr from dish and each box does two rooms, now i want to hook up my fta box but dont know how to do it since the other#2 dvr from dish are useing the cable hook up from the lnbs, and i cant firgure our how to get a free line to hook up to with out dish knowing i am useing fta .i also have two more tv hook up but they are mirriored too the dvr,s boxes so do i need another sat to do this ?? thanks for any help waiting

Does it has two separate cable lines? and What type of the LNBs?

what kind of lnb does it have on the dish?
does it say DP or DP plus on it?
(all in one case-and fat looking)

ok it has the quad lnb but like i said it supplys 2 dish recivers and each reciver supply 2 tv each with there own remote so they can watch what they want, and each reciver has one other line mirriored off of it to , so i just need a free line to hook up fta hope this helps,and thanks

If it's a DP Quad, you can just add other line to it. But if it's a DP Plus, you can only run up to two receivers. You have to get up there and tell us what exactly you have

it;s a quad ,but i am runing 4 tv , it dish reciver and i i have 4 tv being run on the 4 lines allready i just use 2 recivers, but each reciver is cap of doing 2 tv each with there own clicker so we can watch two different channels ,so do i need another dish??? i have a old one but it is 10 years old will that work if i need a new one?? thanks i app the help

Use one of the two free lines for your fta receiver, you don't have to put up another dish

all 4 lines are in use as it it combinesthe singnal i dont have any free lines or ports to connect to for each reciver i have it takes two lines and i have two and each reciver i have does 2 rooms so i have you could say 4 reciver in therory, but only have two so there is not a free line so now what

well,i would ditch my sub and remove all dish crap and put in 4 fta's hehehe

or if you want,just grab another dish 500 and quad lnb
run 4 fta's from that and all 4 rooms get a sub and a fta box.

ok i was mistaken i have a dp pluss lnb but i think in therory i have 4 recivers hook up to it but really only havve 2 and each reciver does 2 rooms each can watch what they want so now what if i get a quad lnb will it give me the other line i need ,or can i split the singal from one of the dish boxes,and if so will dish know?? or do i need another sat hook up hope tthis helps and i do app all the help i am sure learing i hope thanks

ya ok.see the receivers your useing now are both dual tuners so each is really 2 receivers in one.
lets make this very clear as to what you want to do now and what it is you will need to buy.

first.
i take it you want to keep the current setup right?
your sub to all 4 rooms? correct?

second,how many rooms "independent" (so each room can watch whatever at any time like now) are you looking for with fta?
all 4?
