hi,

A null modem cable connects to the serial port for updating.There is another cable (serial)that looks the same but has a different configuration of the internal pins.

To see if you have kround,go to menu,accessories,about stb....it will show you what file,loader version etc...

A null cable is like a serial cable except, the pins are wired different(pin2 to pin3, pin3 to pin2 , ect.) I think if you use loader 1.05 it has Kround(dont quote me on this im new to this )
