some channels still scrambled

Sounds like the same issues I had when I hooked up my captive works stb's. I Had troubles with diseqc switches, tried 3 different ones with no luck. I ended up going to a SW-21 switch & it fixed my issues.

Ok here is her issues. I was on yahoo with her for about an hour last night and got nowhere. she's getting only 119 and with that only 106 channels. I had her take the switch out and run a cable from lbn to the unit. On one lbn she can get S&Q, but on the other she get 0 S&Q. I'm pretty sure she needs to aim her dish better, but I know nothing of this dish 1000 deal. Is there a skew on it, or does she just need to move it around some to pick up both. I'm thinking right now that's her main problem. So if anyone knows anything about this dish 1000 she can use your help.

Hey TBass, I don't know about that dish either. Was that something that DN or DTV left there from a sub somebody had there? She really needs to spend the $80 on a Dish 500 and be done

i think my skew is off will try to reset this afternoon when the 30mile an hour wind dies down
