My box display shows 0000?? - ABA DSS

Hi everyone. My box display shows 0000 and the menu screen shows no channels. In antenna settings I have 100% strength and some quality. But the satellites that have good strength and quality show no transponder.I tried to do a factory reset with the 1.04 and 1.05 loader to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

just do a factory default in the menu and then set up antenna settings and rescan

if you need more help tell us what kind of dish/lnb/switch you are using and what sats you are pointed at

im back up but im missing most of my channels. I auto scanned 110 and 119. is there something im missing? Thanks

when you scan . pick a transponder that gives you the highest quality . if you chose one that has low quality it may not pick them all up. use your arrows to move to another TP as we call it in the fta world.

thanks for the info coors, when i scan the satellites ,the transponder changes numerous times as does the quality. It wont stay on just one transponder.

I tried the settings bigevil gave me and I am still missing alot of my channels. any ideas?

do a factory default and set up just echostar 7with the settings i gave you and autoscan that sat before setting up echo 8

If you have a switch, you should try connecting each LNB directly to the receiver and scanning for channels. Then insert switch back in.

The transponder will change as you scan the sat. Each sat has several transponders (typically 32) and it will start at 12224 and change to each of the transponders and scan for the channels.

Check your sat in the receiver and make sure it has all the transponders. You can compare with the sat info at LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite.
