Hello all sorry i have not been around I hurt my back bad and could not even sit in my computer chair but I am getting better..

now for the good news for all of you that have a dead viewsat this is great for you ..I have been talking with a company that is a (viewsat dealer authorized )called cute fta ..
now they can replace the chip on the board for 25 bucks and then the shipping is 15 bucks one way .. 15 bucks back .. now then it is back to factory settings .. now I also sent them one that the motherboard on the thing was dead .. now for the mother baord it is 50 bucks but takes longer to get fixed and the you are back up .. they can do this on all viewsat recievers only

for a rom chip it will take 1- 2 weeks and cost 55.00 cnd plus tac
replace a board it will take approx 4 weeks as it is ordered from viewsat in california . so approx 80 bucks plus tax .. still cheaper that buying a new one if you want a second reciever .. or just love the viewsats

I just wanted to let you all know .. you can also call your own loacal (if you have ) dealer and see if they do this work..
now this company cute fta will fix the reciever without the reciept for you and no matter how long you have had it .. always remember say nothing about 3rd party software as they will not talk to you.. later and good luck ..
