there is no support for this and I have no knowledge except what i read and that is it cannot be jtagged ,it can use digwave bin, it is a clone of the 2500 , blah blah blah .. i don't know ?? but what you can do is call gemstar say nothing about 3rd party software and ask them for factory bin as it does not work and a loader for it to update firmware .. now if you can take a picture of the motherboard in there and a close picture of the chips on the board and post them here i could help you more on if you can jtag it and if you can but i need the chip #'s and pics of the board ..
