Do not start randomly loading .bins on the box if you do not know if it has been converted or not.
Go into the menu on the box and poke around a bit and you should be able to determine if it is still using the old Skyview software or not.
Another very important note: Do not load the CW "Premium" bin on the box unless you want to "brick" it.
The old Skyview boxes, once converted, are to use CW Standard .bins
Also, you will need loader 1.05 and try a "Null" cable as it may not work with a USB cable as I was never able to get my old converted Skyview box to accept .bin files via USB
Do a search on converting Skyview to CW
If it already has been converted, use the latest CW Standard .bin.
Load with Loader 1.05 and with a "NULL" Modem cable.
I have an old Skyview Rx-600 still running strong after 3 years of use as one of my STB's and it was converted to run CW .bins a couple of years ago.
Sorry, but it's been so long since I did the conversion, I don't remember the steps but most FTA forums will have them in their CW Standard "How To" section.
Do some research and reading before just loading .bins at random on the box unless you want a doorstop.
Granted, these boxes aren't worth much, but they still have some value, at least until N3 is fully implemented.
Good luck.
