Re: Still trying to load factory bins cw600 premiun
bbeals - Do not worry about the missing items. They will be back after you load the bin file.
Suggest you load the old bin file of about 3 ecms ago and checkif the receiver is functioning normally.
If you check the size of the last two bin files you will notice that they are about 705 KB and the older files are 1153KB. So i would suggest you load version 2.24 of 21st. March, 2009 and that should bring back all those missing items in your menu and then wait for a new bin and load it.
I believe the present bin which was released for the Freezing issue may be corrupt.

Re: Still trying to load factory bins cw600 premiun
OK. Buddyjh has loaded the new bin and it is working. So best is download a fresh copy of the 2.29. and after loading Ver. 2.24, load the new Bin 2.29 and see if it will be OK.
I have loaded the new Bin for the Regular 600S receiver and it is working fine.
Report back your results.

Power off the box from the front not the back and after you load 2.29 in the loader click start on the loader

Re: Still trying to load factory bins cw600 premiun
grrrr....don't know what am or have done..trying to use the same loader on this pc always used the 1.06 for the cw, the zip file is in the unzipped file now, the loader verifys it, press front button on box then back switch, click start on the loader screen and it goes from the word "boot" to about 2 other letter/number combinations and then hangs there. The orange line never shows up that it is even transferring, but when I click "stop" and turn box off, a box pops up and says "do you want to stop this now".
I have plugged up my older pc that I always used for this because of the adapter. I bought an adapter usb 2.0 to serial DB9 male and plugged it into my usual cable that I have used forever, but on my new computer it just won't work even after installing the drivers for the new adapter. Saw a lot of complaints on the website about this particular site on this one. So that's why I just hooked up my older pc to use just for this.
Days like today make me feel like I don't know "nuttin", so think will just say piss on it and go on new pc and forget that for a while.
Have a good one!

Leave the back switch alone and just power off from front and click start on loader. When its finished then reboot from back.

Re: Still trying to load factory bins cw600 premiun
Did you unzip the bin before you tried to load it to the 600?

Re: Still trying to load factory bins cw600 premiun
gyps, if you use you 2.0 usb to serial port you need to load in the stand by mode and not boot, and be sure of your port settings on your loader.
