Re: I think I've posted twice but...
Their is no such thing as flash erase itself. The only way to get it back is to get the factory file in it, just keep trying. I'll look around today for a jtag file for the 600, but I don't think 1 exists.

Keep your fingers crossed..the new 2.27 bin loaded smoothly and i reconfigged the satellites and it's now searching and loading channels, display is back to normal and every thing looks like it's on track...just waitng for the search to end...

Re: I think I've posted twice but...
Alright...almost there....STB is back up showing 2.27 bin but now the channels are all scrambled....so...when I reset to factory defaults did I wipe out something?
I enabled the patch H000
I hard booted
I'm doing another satellite scan which probably won't change anything because the big scan sees the channels and brought them in and the menu is showing all the programming available..
Unless of course the bins have changed again?
Suggestions appreciated...thanks for your patience....

Re: I think I've posted twice but...
Patch should be the f1 button then the zeros, I believe. It can take a while to roll, make sure autoroll is turned on.

Re: I think I've posted twice but...
Pansats are taking an hour or more, this might be the same issue here. Try turning the back power switch off then on again and leave it on channel 200.

Yahoooooo! Just took a little longer for the keys to roll through than usual....back up and running...lots of soccer tomorrow as the English Premier league winds down and I couldn't stand missing the action..
My thanks to everyone who patiently listened to me ramble and blindly feel my way to a solution.....have a great long weeked (Is it Memorial Weekend down there? It;s our May 24 aka Victoria Day which is officially the third monday in the month so doesn't always fall on the 24 but its so named because it's the unofficial kick off to beer drinking season and we buy by the 24 up up here!
