latest bin is messing up my graphics
I have a captive works 600s premium receiver and just today I tried loading the latest bin onto it. I used the loader v1.06 and the bin file Cw600pv2.32 2009_05_20.zip.
In theory you would think that would work. But for some reason now all my menu and epg graphics are all torn and scrambled. Plus I get no picture or audio and I can't even manually change the key with the remote anymore. I can bring up the key using page down on the remote but when I press the red button to edit the key nothing happens.
I tried installing the factory bin at which point everything seemed to look alright.
After installing the latest bin again though I got the exact same problem.
Anyone have any idea what I'm missing?

The CW600 P is one of my test boxes, have not had any problems with the recent update.

Re: latest bin is messing up my graphics
Redownload the file and reinstall it as it may have become corrupted during the D/L or during the decompressing process.

Re: latest bin is messing up my graphics
tried downloading the latest update again but same problem. I want to just say the receiver is screwed but it works fine when I load the factory bin. I'm totally lost on this one.

Re: latest bin is messing up my graphics
yeah, i'm beginning to think it's not the bin file now. I tried an earlier fix and the same thing happened. I think it's got to be my receiver itself. Something in it must be messed up. Thanks for the responses guys.

I have this same exact problem, and ive tried everything, factory bins factory resets older files new ones ect.. some other file to fix green screen i tried as well, but I don't think that one was for this issue, I havn't tried to clone from a good box yet, will be my next step once i find one.... If anyone has had or has solved this problem please post about it.

Re: latest bin is messing up my graphics
Ok I wasn't able to test the cloning method for this, due to no other box on hand, But after much surfing I found a fix that I tested and works, here goes good luck!
1: Load factory file cw600pv1.09_reocrder_2_20_07.
2: Load bin cw600pv2.26_2009_03_26 or a bin made before that date.
3: Load newest bin.

Wow that fixed my problem as well... Thanks Struct...
The only thing is that 2.33 might have been hit with a ECM.
