Ok I tried the switch already andit did not work. So I guess I will do a factory default and scan again.

Ok I am still having problems. My box will work good for a couple of days or so then I loose signal. My box will show no signal at all. Can someone tell me what is wrong ???? Is it the box or something else ???

nah its not the stb buddy.

you must have a bad cable/or bad cable connections
possibly a bad switch or lnb also.

OkI dont think its the cable. I do have two boxes running and one works fine..... Is that true tha you need a dish network receiver hooked up to power the LNB ????

you dont have a dish pro plus lnb do you?
and how are you hooking up 2 receivers?
yes iv read they are power hungry and dont like to switch back and forth on their own without a powered switch or a dn receiver hooked up.
but thats just the dpPLUS lnb.

Yes there is two ports one for each receiver. I have a cable running to each one

ok you will need a DPP44 switch.
this will supply the power needed for the dish pro plus lnb.
