Please Help Setup new captive works 600-s Premium

Hello all I just got a new captive works 600-s premium and I nned to know how to set it up. What bin files do I need to load ? Is it only one ? I have a dish 500 pro. Please help !!!!!!

The newest file is 1.40 to be loaded follow all sets exactly ONLY load files for the premium other wise you can and will mess up the receiver to not work check the captive works files uinder the search opion and PLEASE make sure you use premium files!!!!

yup thats all you need to load.for tv.
all the rest there in the sticky post are extra goodies.not needed.

BUT. the icon file rules.once you get tv up and running load that and turn on icons in the osd menu.
long channel name bins are cool too.

Can someone help ?? I set up my reciever but I am only getting about 100 channels and not getting all the channels. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong ?

Tell me what type of dish and LNB do you have? and how do you set up of your dish setting?

I have the dish 500 with twin LNB. I had four tv hooked up before. I have one cable straight to the receiver. Do I need to use the antena port also.

with a dish pro twin lnb set your lnb type to dp (not normal)
then put 119 on diseqc port 1 (echo 7)
diseqc port 2 for 110 (echo 8,10)

delete all your channels-factory default-channel list first though.
then auto scan both birds.and you should get em all now.
once your scan is done dont forget to press f1 then 000-to enable patch.
wait a min or 2 for pic to come in.and your good to go.

And menu>highlight system setting ok>highlight osd ok>check auto,if off highlight and click volume to turn on.

Can someone tell me which signal to use? I have Echostar 1,2 (148W) and Echo Star6,8(110W) and Echostar 7 (119W). When I scanned one signal it gave me the names of the channels and with the others it just says like channel 135 prog 9602. Can someone please help !!!!!!!!!

Oh and also I live in Fresno California area ..............

before you scan,go to installation,up top scroll to echo 7 (119)
if you have it setup correctly,down towrd the bottom it will read:

found:echostar 7 119w

once it says that,you know your correct,then you press the red button for auto scan.
(be sure to do another factory default before you scan though)
then you do the same for whatever other birds your pointed at.
